Production company and production service in Liguria, on the Italian Riviera
Flying Donkeys Productions is an audiovisual and events production company with an in-house creative team. Our registered office is in Casarza Ligure, near Genoa, on the Italian Riviera, and our operational office is in Milan; we work all over Italy. In Liguria we create and produce commercials, branded content, documentaries and events, and as a production service company we take projects by Italian and international agencies and producers to set. We know the region very well, from Genoa to Portofino and the Gulf of Tigullio: where to shoot, who issues the permits, and what time the light is right.
From the port of Genoa to the Bay of Silence.
Production service
For agencies, production companies and broadcasters. We organise shoots in Liguria for projects conceived by others: budget, local crew and suppliers, locations and permits, logistics, production management and post-production. For other producers’ films and documentaries, we also act as executive producers. The idea is yours; we know the way to set.
Locations and permits
We find locations and secure permits across Liguria, from the western Riviera to the Cinque Terre: seaside villages, harbours, beaches, villas and gardens, Genoa’s old town, hill villages inland. We know which offices to contact and how far ahead, from town councils to the Coast Guard (Capitaneria di porto), parks and marine protected areas.
Crew, logistics and hospitality
Local crew and suppliers, transport, hotels and hospitality for cast and crew. Focaccia included, of course.
Creative + production for Ligurian companies and places
For companies, places and public bodies in Liguria we create and produce commercials, branded content, documentaries and corporate videos, from concept to delivery, with our in-house creative team.
Events
We organise events in Liguria and handle their creative and artistic direction: in town squares, on the beach and on the sea.

International productions: one partner in Italy.
We work in Italy for Italian and international productions, including BBC StoryWorks, Indiana Production and Southside Productions. A foreign production gets a single point of contact, in English and Italian, who knows the territory and its offices. For the Ferrari 250 GTO feature documentary, a USA-Italy-UK co-production released in 140 Italian cinemas in September 2026, we handled the Italian shoot.
